Audi has tested a new variant of the autopilot system that’s been taught to behave “more human” and to be guided when making decisions on other road users. The technology, installed on the model A7, tested on a stretch of German A9 motorway, designated by the authorities of the country for this purpose.
In Audi cars has taught, managed by the autopilot, to move more naturally. Electronics organize his work in such a way that the maneuvering the vehicle harmoniously into the traffic situation for all traffic participants.
For example, when you lane change, the electronics will turn Blinker at first and slightly shifted from center road to road markings before it is finally rebuilt. When overtaking a truck, the system now increases the lateral distance between the two vehicles, and a navigation system on request is able to build a route so that the road was more of the plots to auto-pilot.
In fully automatic mode the Audi A7 drove on the highway A9 in early April. In the demonstration race was attended by the German Minister of transport Alexander Dobrindt.
