The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina has reached the third round at a major tournament, Beijing WTA Premier with a prize Fund of $6,289,521.
After a confident victory over Tatiana Maria Svitolina in the capital of China was another German hurdle for a place in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian competed c winner of four WTA tour and Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki.
Svitolina failed the start of the match, taking two games only one draw. Lisicki immediately responded with a similar courtesy, and in the seventh game of the German second time lost his serve and failed to cling to the back break.
In the second set Lisicki have finally parted the game on his serve – German twice on break point allowed a double fault. Svitolina also made two breaks, but due to a confident start and unmistakable ending Ukrainka without further problems followed in the third round.
Next opponent Elina Svitolina in Beijing, most likely, will be another German – the first racket of the world, Angelique Kerber in the second round will play against Barbora Strycova.
