Alexander Dolgopolov made it to the quarterfinals of the grass tournament in the UK.
In the second round Dolgopolov in an hour and seven minutes has passed canadian tennis player Frank Gantsevich occupying the ATP ranking 292 th position. The match was challenging for the Ukrainian, who failed to show such a robust game like in the match with Kyle Edmund.
In the opening meeting Dolgopolov led 3-0, but in the seventh game for the first time in the tournament allowed a lot of break points and immediately gave his serve. The unexpected success of Dancevic not used – Dolgopolov immediately made another break and served for the set.
