According to the Telegraph, only for the third quarter revealed 30 of financial pyramids.
As stated by the representative of the Department, on the average on regions such victims of financial pyramids become the order of 100 – 150 people, the data vary. The average damage for each person is 40 – 80 thousand rubles, said the Telegraph.
Also, representatives of the Bank of Russia told about the impending introduction of the card of financial risks. According to them, the territory of the Russian regions on this map will be painted in different colors, depending on how likely the existence or the emergence of financial pyramids in the area. And the main task of the fighters with financial schemers in the near future is to prevent the spread of the pyramids from one region to another, as in most cases they act locally (quickly change the zone of “work”).
We will remind that on March 15, 2016, the state Duma adopted amendments on administrative offences (Cao), which provide for the administrative punishment of the founders of the organizations in case of revealing in the activities of the characteristics of a financial pyramid. 23 March 2016 these amendments were approved by the Federation Council, and March 30, 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin.
