The official premiere of the car will take place in October.
Exterior of the car resembles the concept LIV-1, which was first shown in 2013 at the motor show in Seoul. The car will be built on a new platform. The crossover will be 50 kg lighter than its predecessor, although it will exceed it in size. On the same platform will be built and the new Actyon pick-up, which will present in 2018.
Future Rexton gets a new 2.0-liter gasoline engine. It is also expected the appearance of the 2.2-litre diesel unit with a return of 180 horsepower. The car will be equipped with 7-speed automatic transmission manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. Later model will complement the German 8-step “automatic”.
