“Charged” version of the Seat Ateca will be equipped with “turboservice”.
Seat will create a “charged” modification of the first in its history crossover — Ateca. Spy shots of the prototype of the new items photographed without camouflage, was published by the Autocar.
According to unofficial data, Ateca Seat Cupra will complement the two-liter “turboservice” from the hot-hatch Leon Cupra, the impact of which will increase from 290 to 300 horsepower. It is possible that the crossover will receive system of a full drive, borrowed from the Volkswagen Golf R.
In addition, the hot crossover will get an upgraded suspension with sport settings. It is assumed that Ateca Cupra can accelerate from standstill to one hundred kilometers per hour in about 6.5 seconds.
As expected, the public premiere of a novelty will take place in March 2017 at the Geneva motor show, and its sales will start in the second half of 2017. Prices for “charged” coupe will start from approximately 40 euros, which will make Ateca Cupra the most expensive model in the history of the “Seat”.
