AFK “System” Vladimir Yevtushenkov intends to buy Regional hotel chain (RHC) Andrei Yakunin, the son of the former head of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin. The Federal Antimonopoly service has already approved the deal.
Final arrangements for the purchase of the hotels yet, said the company Yevtushenkov, the newspaper “Vedomosti”. Request to the FAS has been made for observance of all necessary formalities.
Vladimir Yevtushenkov intends to acquire nine hotels, Regional hotel chains, as well as two companies — JSC “Fortuna” and OOO “RGS Perm. It is noted that the CSG was controlled by the funds managed by independent partnership Venture Investment and Yield Management (VIYM), which was founded by Andrey Yakunin
A chain of hotels managed by Park Inn by Radisson, Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard by Marriott, can cost the new owner $ 100 million or 100 thousand dollars for each room.
Four years ago Andrey Yakunin was going to invest $ 500 million in the construction of hotels near the train stations in the largest cities of Russia.
