Soda doubles the probability of kidney disease

Газировка удваивает вероятность болезней почекHome wine beverages is the amount of sugar.

Women who drink two or more cans of soda a day, almost two times higher signs of kidney disease, established doctors.

Among men the risk was not recorded.

The researchers examined data on diet and analyzed urine samples over 9 thousand people and found a high risk of damage to the kidney function in women, often drinking sweet drinks. It was observed that high consumption of soda was associated with albuminuria — excess protein in the urine. Since healthy kidneys filter out large molecules such as albumin, their high concentrations may lead to renal dysfunction.

About 11 percent of the world’s population has albuminuria, and among those who drink two or more bottles of soda per day, 17 percent have this early marker of kidney disease, say doctors Loyola University (USA). In recent years the incidence of diabetes, obesity and kidney disease have soared, along with increased consumption of fructose — the sweetener used in the manufacture of most carbonated beverages.

But the main wine beverages is the sugar, not the type, because people drink too much like sugary beverages, the researchers note. In women renal disease give symptoms such as fatigue, poor appetite, sleep problems, swollen feet, poor concentration, weakening of bones and also contributed to hypertension, anemia, damage to the nervous system and cardiovascular dysfunction.
