Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and the ex-Minister of internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliev awarded the departmental medal winners of the Games in Rio are from “Dynamo”
On Thursday the Cultural centre of FSB on Bolshaya Lubyanka hosted the extraordinary conference of all-Russian sports society (VFSO) “the Dynamo” following the results of which the new Chairman of the organization was elected, the former CEO of “Norilsk Nickel” Lieutenant Colonel, retired KGB Vladimir Strzhalkovskiy. Once approved, the new head of the society, together with the Minister of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Deputy Secretary of the Russian security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev and the head of service organizational-personnel work of FSB Evgenie Lovyrev awarded the departmental medal winners of the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro from among the athletes of the Dinamo society and their coaches.
Among the recipients were the gold winning synchronized swimmers Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina, pyatibrat Alexander Lesun, gymnast Anastasia Bliznyuk, boxer Evgeny Tishchenko, and also the winners of the Games cyclist Denis Dmitriyev, boxer Misha Aloyan and Vitaly Dunaitsev and many others.
As said the head of Ministry of internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the society “Dynamo” worked most effectively of all agencies represented athletes in the Russian delegation at the Games in Rio.
— On the one hand, only 40% of the total athletes of the Russian delegation at the Olympics was “Dynamo” and on the other 55% of them brought medals to the country that speaks the greatest efficiency it is those coaches and athletes who are the Dynamo society, — said Kolokoltsev. — No offense to other organizations, this statistic is clear.
His predecessor, now Deputy Secretary of the Russian security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev also stressed the importance of the society “Dynamo” in the system of Russian sport.
— We are grateful to all Russian athletes for medals at the Olympics, produced in difficult conditions, but especially note our Dynamo — said Nurgaliyev. In Rio they proved once again that Dynamo is the engine of Russian sports.
