The new building will be very spacious hall with 380 seats is at least double what it was in the “basement”. And after hall they have expanded. In particular, there is a constructive possibility of transformation not only scenes, but also space — a quarter of the chairs if necessary, can be removed under the floor. Also in the new premises is traditional for any theatre buffet and all the theatrical infrastructure of the hall for rehearsals, dressing rooms, utility and storage rooms for the storage of props, wardrobe and scenery. Total area of the building is very different from Chaplyginskaya “basement”. The new multi-functional three-level complex with an area of nearly 20,000 square meters, where in addition to the theatre there is office space and other premises, “Snuff” is given a quarter — five thousand “squares”.
At the opening ceremony was personally attended by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin. He warmly congratulated all with the long-awaited commissioning of the new building and wished the company further development and prosperity.
