And tomorrow night March 26 –will be the largest cultural event of the beginning of spring – “night at the theatre”, in which will participate the leading theaters of the capital. While I will talk about the new centre “Theatre district”, which will present its program in September. Why is the “Theatre district” should go? Because today, the contemporary theatre is not just some the acts on stage. No, it’s the whole atmosphere, another form of life, so similar to yours.

If not – and not as you see. “Theatre district” is a unique platform, which will be presented 7 kinds of art: theatre, literature, music, performance, cinema, visual art, architecture.
“Theatre district” is conceived as a place to search for new forms and meanings. On the same team here will be working artists, actors, musicians, composers, architects, Directors, designers and philosophers. Also for the audience here will hold lectures, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, dramatic readings of plays, prose and poetry.
“Theatrical quarter” will be the natural continuation of the program of culturization capital (or cultivation?), which is actively conducted by the municipality in the last few years.
In 2013 launched a program of reconstruction, renovation and construction of urban theatres. The project was done a lot of work to update the cultural facilities. In 2013, renovation has been completed in the Theater of Satire, re-commissioned after a major overhaul of the famous “Theatre cat Kuklachev”, local repair was performed in 11 buildings of various theaters, and also completed the construction of the Center of culture, arts and leisure. With the support of the city near the theatre there was one building on Strastnoy theatre for the community center. In the future we plan to tidy up the area around the “Theatre district”, but this is in another program – “My street”. Here will update the sidewalk, lighting, make easy the way to the subway. However, all changes need to happen this summer, so the wait is not very long.
