Simultaneous jump in the swamp: the pool in Rio suddenly turned green

The fourth day of competition in Rio can be considered as a St. Patrick’s Day. At least for divers in the water, because their pool one night was the perfect green.
“I never in this water do not jump,” said the Briton Tonya Coach.
And her concerns are shared by other athletes and journalists covering the competition. The mystery is compounded by the fact that, apparently, this happened entirely without the knowledge of the organizers.
First, one of the representatives of the International swimming Federation suggested that the athletes themselves are asked to repaint the blue water. Say, in the green mirror of the pool less glare of the sun.
Organizers said that the water purification system found a problem. The water quality fully meets the security standards.
The Internet, as usual, responded to all of this flurry of releases:
- Algae, which live well in a warm pool hopping, but which for some reason is not etched by the chlorine.
- Oxidized copper – even found the service manual pools, where it is described that a green color indicates the corrosion of copper pipes.
- Russians in a panic poured into the pool has its own doping.
- Wrong color settings in the TV.
