The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko has reduced the list of players continuing their preparations for the start of the world Cup qualifiers.
Shevchenko announced the team, which at this stage does not need the services of Rybalka, Nikolay Morozyuk (both “Dynamo”), Roman Bezus (“Sint-Truiden, Belgium), Vladlen Yurchenko (Bayer, Germany) and Artem Doubek (“Dnepr”).
“The technical characteristics which are necessary for the performers to confront a specific opponent – the national team of Iceland, we took such a decision. All children remain in the circle of candidates in the national team and will continue training at their clubs”, says his choice of Shevchenko.
Thus, the Ukraine national team are 27 players:
Goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov, Nikita Shevchenko (both — Shakhtar), Denis Boyko (málaga, Spain).
Defence: Artem Fedetskyy (Darmstadt, Germany), Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakitskiy, Bogdan Butko, Ivan Ordets, Serhiy Kryvtsov (Shakhtar), Pavlo ksyonz (“Carpathians”), Eduard Sobol (“dawn”).
Midfielders: Andriy Yarmolenko, Serhiy sydorchuk, Vitaliy buialskyi, Denis Garmash (Dynamo Kyiv), Taras Stepanenko, Maxim Malyshev, Viktor Kovalenko (Shakhtar), and Oleksandr Karavayev, Ivan Petryak (both “dawn”), Yevhen Konoplyanka (Schalke, Germany), Oleksandr Zinchenko (PSV, the Netherlands), Evgeny Shakhov (PAOK, Greece), Ruslan rotan (Dnipro).
Forwards: Roman Zozulya (Betis, Spain), Yevhen Seleznyov (Shakhtar), Denis Balanyuk (“Dnepr”).
The national team of Ukraine of the fifth of September will play against Iceland. This match will be the debut for Andriy Shevchenko as head coach of “blue-yellow”.
