The head coach of the national team Mykhailo Fomenko at a press conference called the names of the players competing for a trip to the European championship.
“The list was compiled last week, but for some items, there were questions. Now resorted to a common denominator, although a few positions are still debatable. There are a few guys in reserve, because football is a contact sport and, quite possibly, have to make adjustments,” – said the coach of the national team of Ukraine.
An expanded team of Ukraine for Euro 2016:
Goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov (Shakhtar), Denys Boyko (Besiktas, Turkey), Nikita Shevchenko (Zorya);
Defence: Artem Fedetskiy (Dnipro), Mykyta Kamenyuka (Zorya), Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakitskiy (Shakhtar), Eugene Khacheridi (Dynamo);
Midfielders: Anatoliy Tymoshchuk (Kairat, Kazakhstan), Alexander Karavaev, Ivan Petryak (both “dawn”), Oleh Husiev, Andriy Yarmolenko, Denys Harmash, Serhiy sydorchuk, Serhiy Rybalka (Dynamo Kyiv), Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko, Maksym Malyshev (all – “the miner”), Eugene Shakhov, Ruslan rotan (both is “Dnepr”), Yevhen Konoplyanka (Sevilla, Spain);
Forwards: Artem Kravets (Dynamo), Philip Budkivskiy (Zorya), Roman Zozulya (Dnipro).
In reserve were Ivan Ordets (Shakhtar Donetsk), Artem Putivtsev (“Turmalina”, Poland), Vitaly Buyalsky (Dynamo) and Artem Gordienko (Zorya).
In the preliminary part, there was no place for the Russian legionaries – as stated by Fomenko, on the candidates, Bogdan Butko (“Amkar”) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (“Ufa”) is controversy. As for Yevhen Seleznyov, its not yet in the list.

Seeing the national team of Ukraine for Euro 2016 will be held on may 22. Before the final stage of the European championship “blue-yellow” will play a friendly match with Romania, Albania and one of the lower division clubs in Switzerland or Italy.
