Lawyer Alexander gofshtein confirmed that the excitement concerning kingpin Zakhary Kalashov, known as Shakro Young, a new criminal case, reports “Interfax”.
“Yes, indeed, in respect of my client’s criminal case as regards 4 articles 210 of the criminal code (“Organization of criminal community by a person holding a higher position in criminal hierarchy”)”, — he said. According to him, the protection of Kalashov has informed on excitation of one more criminal case last week.
Criminal authorities are preparing to bring charges under this article, said a knowledgeable source.
Earlier on 8 August, the Moscow city court decided to leave under guards of Kalashov, rejecting an appeal against his arrest.
Lawyers insisted on the illegality of the measure and asked the court to release him. According to gofshtein, criminal episode, which is imputed to his client, occurred in December 2015. However, Kalashov was arrested six months later. In the opinion of counsel, the fact that he didn’t try to hide behind this time, points to his innocence.
