The entire leadership of the economic bloc counterintelligence is preparing to leave the posts after a series of scandals.
Two more head key departments of the FSB of the Russian Federation has submitted a letter of resignation. Earlier, a similar petition to the leadership asked the head of SEB, FSB and head of the Department “K”. Thus, the security service may leave the leadership of the economic unit at full strength.
As told to “Rosbaltu” a source in the security services, the letter of resignation was filed by the heads of departments “P” and “T” of FSB of the Russian Federation. Along with the office “To” these units are the “backbone” of the economic security Service (SEB) FSB. Management “P” engaged in counter-intelligence provision of industry’s enterprises, in particular in charge of “rostec”. It previously worked as the head of SEB Yuri Yakovlev. “The heads of the economic block of the FSB leave the office. All of them have already been on the ground of age. But, of course, the reasons for the resignation are not in it. In recent years, SEB has strained relations with management of own safety of FSB of the Russian Federation, began to emerge in the scandal, which escalated into criminal cases or the so-called online help. According to him, it is planned that the representatives of the URC and will occupy the vacated positions. Thus, the head of USB Sergei Korolev can become head of the SEB. In turn, the head of the CSS can be Oleg Feoktistov, who is now the Deputy head. And the “K” is scheduled to be headed by the current head of the 6th Department of the FSB (part of CSS) Ivan Tkachev.
It is worth noting that Oleg Feoktistov was able to lead the URC in 2011. Then the head of this Department Alexander Kupryazhkin went on increasing, becoming Deputy Director of the FSB, and it was predicted that the vacant place will be Feoktistov. But suddenly the head of KGB NKVD was Sergei Korolev – ally Anatoly Serdyukov, who was at one time the position of assistant Secretary of defense.
