It is clear to see they are very hard, but most likely, it’s either the letters CE or the letter B. In the arch of the bridge in the background you can see the number 72, or it could be the letter L and two. In addition, in the picture you can see the number 149 with a jammed four, which may indicate the creation date of the painting — da Vinci painted it during his stay in Milan in 1490-ies. It is important to remember that the picture is almost 500 years old, so hidden signs are not as clear as could be discernible immediately after it is created.
