Seat plans to produce compact electric crossover

Seat company plans to release a compact crossover with electric propulsion. It is expected that this model will revive the name Marbella, which from 1986 to 1998 were used for the subcompact car, which was extensively redesigned version of Fiat Panda.

The latest novelty in the line of all terrain Seat is the model of Ateca. It is built on the MQB chassis and is offered with a range of petrol and diesel engines capacity from 116 to 190 forces.

According to the publication, the novelty will be built on the same platform as the compact cars Volkswagen up!, Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo. The same chassis was used in the concept car Taigun with a 110 -horsepower three-cylinder gasoline engine of one liter, which Volkswagen is expected to launch a series.
