For many years psychologists are studying how the amount of sex affects our happiness.
We live in a society where sex is often touted as the secret sauce that maintains relations on a qualitative level. The more sex, the better for you, your partner and your relationship.

Studies claim that it is enough to have sex once a week, to pair have a harmonious and happy relationship. It is a good or bad news, depending on how satisfied are you with your sex life.

It turns out that for many years psychologists are studying how the amount of sex affects our happiness. More than 25,000 of ordinary Americans older than 18 and younger than 90 years took a large study. 65% of respondents were married or were romantically involved. For anyone who is married or has a committed relationship more the amount of sex, of course, is associated with greater happiness. But the figure did not have a significant meaning for single people.

When the researchers tried to find out the upper limit on the amount of sex, which improves feelings of happiness and well-being by sex, they found that people feel happier if they have sex once a week or more often.

“Is not set straight the relationship between sex and happiness, if you have sex less than once a week. But if you have sex once a week, people expressed satisfaction with their lives,” said Amy Mose, a social psychologist from the Institute of Toronto MISSISSAUGA, who led the study. “So couples don’t need to strive to have sex as often as possible”
