Six weeks study twice a week the elderly come to the lab and worked on the bike. After a few seconds of training, they waited until heart rate recovers, and then continued training. The time spent on exercise, eventually increased to one minute. As a result, the blood pressure of the elderly decreased by 9%, and their muscles became easier to obtain oxygen. The pensioners said that everyday things, for example, walk the dog, or getting up from a chair, become much easier.

He says to the short-lived exercises easier to adapt. People can take them home and, after consulting with a doctor.

It is important to note: we are talking about intense physical exertion. There is an opinion that short duration exercise of high intensity is more useful than conventional training. They are best suited for elderly people. Long sports put heart at greater risk. The researchers plan to continue their research. They want to study people who are older and less healthy.
