Scientists have denied the rumors about the dangers of electromagnetic fields

Ученые опровергли слухи о вреде электромагнитных полей British scientists were surprised by their discoveries.

Several previous studies showed that magnetic fields generated by power lines high voltage, telephone wires and other electrical equipment are harmful for humans.

The work that began in the 1970s and again repeated later, found a link between living near power lines and an increased risk of leukaemia in children.

Although some later studies have not confirmed this relationship, the International Agency for research on cancer classified low-frequency magnetic fields as “possibly carcinogenic”. However, the mechanism of this connection was never revealed, yet the question was not carried out by the team from the Institute of biotechnology Manchester.

In an article published in the journal Royal Society Interface, they describe the effects of weak magnetic fields (WMFs) on the function of key proteins of the human body. In particular, the experts explored the effect of WMFs on the class of proteins called flavoproteins – they are responsible for vital processes, including the functions of the nervous system, DNA repair and biorhythms. Flavoproteins would have serious consequences for human health. However, once in the laboratory, they are exposed to weak magnetic fields, it became clear that WMFs have no biochemical effect on these proteins.
