The world’s largest system of catacombs, oddly enough, is in the Ukrainian Odessa.
If the total length of underground tunnels to pull in one line, its length would reach Paris.
That is officially confirmed by the total length of all catacombs equal to about 2500 km. There are no accurate data when it began the construction of the catacombs. We only know that their active development began in the XVIII century, when there began to build a seaport and the city itself began to get upset.
