Many of my articles in Maxpart look funny, though the problems that I describe in them are not from the category funny. I could write on serious subjects, but where am I supposed to compete with experts explaining all kinds of economic and political processes in Ukraine, however, to bypass the Constitution, the law and common sense.
As many have noticed, in Ukraine continues and economic crisis, few investors want to access in our country is manufacturing.And it’s not about what the business might be unprofitable, but the fact that we have very high prices for the lease of the facilities to public or private property.
Many investors do not want to overpay for air, and the people who, taking advantage of official position or connections, got free land or facility non-residential Fund in order to pass them in the sublease. I believe that in order to attract investors in the country still need to start the process of selling the land.
I understand that neither I nor many others will not be able to buy a meter of land, but a public auction with the sale of land will attract entrepreneurs who want to invest in a new production. High rental prices are dictated, I think, not a high standard of living in Ukraine, and certainly not the high interest in these objects, and unemployment and crisis, and they are designed for local entrepreneurs, attracting their savings, the banks or somebody’s investment, will still wallow in this unprofitable for the business field, in order to survive.
I don’t even know, from the perspective of foreign entrepreneurs that it is profitable to privatize Ukraine, in the sense that the production capacity of most enterprises is outdated, and profit they do, I think, as a result of non-payment of taxes or by withholding working capital from accounts in banks. If someone decides to access any Bank in Ukraine, as in other Ukrainian banks, it is most advantageous to open-to close, in order to cash in on the deposits of customers. Although, if you have good connections in the government, you can get some financial infusion to support the exchange rate of the hryvnia or dollar.
The only favorable aspect for foreign businesses can be cheap labor, but they still don’t know how cheap it can, if people, for example local entrepreneurs, not officially issued, and not to pay them a salary, and then taking or laying off new workers.
As things stand, all foreign businessmen, it is most advantageous not to produce something in Ukraine, and to sell us what they have produced. It seems that our entrepreneurs don’t really bother much about the opening of some industries, we also are trying to cooperate with the world in terms of sales that still have metal, scrap metal, grain.Perhaps it’s not just the expensive energy, which do not allow to develop production in the country, but also in the laws. I don’t know what industry what law governed, because I was not working at all enterprises of the country, but where I had to go, the picture was always the same – the inability to earn not otherwise circumvent the law.
But in our country there is another problem, for example, the law on treasure hunting. I read the laws of other countries on the same topic, and realized that only in Ukraine there is such an absurd law. In most countries, all found belongs to the person that something found in the strata of the earth and only items of historical significance owned by the state. We any discovery is equivalent to put and its assignment shall entail criminal liability. Not buried frightened of retaliation by bourgeois or a ring hidden in the land of a greedy merchant of the box with the coins to be of cultural heritage of Ukraine. Need to separate these concepts and only found artifacts can be considered valuable, and only need to pass the state and that their cost should be determined based on prices at auctions, and not equal to scrap value. I understand that now and so the country’s problems, but I don’t understand why they are hesitant. And then, if you sell land in South-East possible to solve the problem of war than not a solution.
