Russian warships reached the English channel on the way to Syria. British troops are in full combat readiness.
UK Ministry of defense is following all the movements of warships of the Russian Federation.
15 October it was reported that the British fleet is given in full combat readiness and are willing to “follow every step” of the Russian aircraft carriers. Two British warships, presumably HMS Duncan and HMS Richmond will accompany all the ships going past the British coast.
The EU condemned Russia’s actions in Syria, and the UN has called the bombing in Aleppo “a crime of global proportions”.
