Russian sentenced to 10 years in prison in the United States

In the United States court sentenced the Russian citizen Alexander Fishenko arrested in October 2012 for illegal export of microelectronics potentially for military use in Russia, to 10 years imprisonment.

In September last year, he pleaded guilty to that acted as an agent of the Russian government, but not registered as such with the justice Ministry, was a participant in a criminal conspiracy to export licensing of microelectronics in Russia and money laundering and mending obstruction of justice.

As argued by the prosecution, since October 2008 until October 2012, Fishenko owned by the Houston company, Arc Electromics illegally melted down in Russia a license microelectronics for $ 50 million.

In fact, prosecutors say, Arc does not produce anything and only sent the goods to Russia, where he often went to the needs of the military and intelligence services.

Fishenko, was born in Kazakhstan, but emigrated to the US in 1994 from Russia and acquired American citizenship.
