Russian journalists detained in Kosovo

The court in the Kosovo city of Pristina issued a 5-year ban on entry into the Republic of two Russian journalists propaganda Agency News Front.

“Russian journalists who were detained while working on a story about the Serbs in Kosovo are denied entry in Kosovo for five years”, – stated in the message.

In addition, representatives of the Russian Agency Oksana Sazonova and Sergey Belous was fined 2500 euros.

It is noted that the police arrested journalists in Orahovac during their work on a story about Serbs and violation of the visa regime. After the decision of the court, the journalists were taken to the territory controlled by Serbia.

Interestingly, the journalists later told that they were shooting footage for “future documentary about the Orthodox churches on this territory.”
