Stavropolets became the best player of the European Championship on handball among hard of hearing persons. The superiority of the Old world took place in Berlin, where they met teams from Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Denmark, Italy, Germany and Russia.
As explained by “Komsomolskaya Pravda in the North Caucasus” in a press-service of administration of Stavropol, In the composition of our national team for the title of European Champions fought 11 athletes and 2 coaches from the regional capital.
In the end, the Russian team won silver medals of the competition. And one of the players – stavropolets Murat Chamaev was recognized as not only the best scorer but the best player of the championship. In five meetings, he successfully attacked the opponents ‘ goal 49 times!
Now athletes begin preparing for the competition, which next year will be held in Turkey.
