The Russian foreign Ministry hope that the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) will draw attention to the fact that the use of chemical agents in Syria and militants will conduct an investigation.
“Information on the application in Aleppo, chemicals of a certain group, are related according to us estimates to the so-called moderate opposition, confirmed by the Russian military, running on the spot”, — said the Director of the Department for nonproliferation and arms control (DNCW) of the Russian foreign Ministry Mikhail Ulyanov, reports TASS.
According to him, the OPCW must conduct an investigation.
Earlier the defense Ministry reported that as a result of the use by militants in Aleppo, Syria toxic substances, seven people were killed and more than 20 were hospitalized.
