The international Olympic Committee decided to remove Russia from the upcoming Olympics.
Following the meeting in Lausanne, the IOC has decided to shift responsibility to the international sports Federation, which will in the shortest possible time to form an updated list of the Russian athletes eligible for the Olympic games.
With the exception of athletes because the international Association of athletics federations has been suspended the national team of Russia from the Olympics and the Sports arbitration court in Lausanne rejected an appeal against the decision of the IAAF.
“The decision was taken almost unanimously on the grounds of liability for doping.
