From 6 to 22 may in Moscow and St.-Petersburg will host the world hockey championship in the elite division.
The composition of the groups:
Group a (Moscow, VTB “Ice Palace”): Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Latvia, Norway, Denmark and Kazakhstan.
Group B (Saint-Petersburg, “Yubileiny”): Canada, Finland, USA, Slovakia, Belarus, France, Germany, Hungary.
The schedule of the tournament:
Group stage – from 6 to 17 may;
1/4 finals – may 19;
1/2 final – 21 may;
The match for third place and the final on 22 may in Moscow.
