Relations between the countries are complicated, think in Russia.
The expected accession of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina to NATO will improve relations of these countries with Russia. This was stated by Director of the European cooperation Department of Russian foreign Ministry Andrey Kelin.
“At present, NATO is a very unfriendly policy towards Russia, are of foreign troops on the territory of the Baltic States. Accession to NATO in this situation does not work for the stability and strengthening of confrontation in relations between the two countries”, – said Kelin on the forum of young diplomats.
The diplomat recalled that Montenegro plans to join the NATO, as well as there “spur” Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“It’s not going to improve our relations”, – said Kelin.
