Russia has completed delivery of air defense missile systems s-300 to Iran, reported today by TASS representative of the Federal service for military-technical cooperation (FSMTC).
“Yes, completed”, – he told, answering an appropriate question.
In late August, Iranian defense Minister Hossein Dehgan said that Iran expects to complete deliveries in a month.
A contract to supply s-300 to Iran was signed in 2007 but its implementation was suspended in 2010. In the spring of 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin has lifted a ban on deliveries of s-300 to Iran, in November of the same year the contract was in force.
