More than 20 people received injuries of varying severity as a result of collapse of the wooden bridge in the village of Plop 15 km from the capital of the Romanian oil industry Ploiesti.
As reported by UKRINFORM correspondent in the ambulance Service, the age of victims – from 17 to 77 years, amongst them is a pregnant woman.
Locals say that the bridge was old and required repair.
