About half of Russian citizens (46%) believe that a Bank Deposit is a disadvantageous way to store tools.
However, about 30% of Russians said that the way to save money – reliable, according to a survey, which was conducted by the public opinion Foundation.
It is noted that 65% of Russian citizens do not have Bank Deposit (in 1998 the figure was 83%).
23% of Russians have deposits in the savings Bank, another 6% in other credit institutions.
According to sociologists, 46% of Russian citizens stated that a Bank Deposit is a disadvantageous way to store funds, do not agree with them 30% of the population. According to 39% of respondents, a Bank Deposit is an unreliable way to store money.
The results of the FOM poll suggests that two out of three Russians recognize that Bank deposits are unsafe or unprofitable. However, the people of Russia believe that the funds in the banks to keep funds better than at home.
If to speak about system of insurance of Bank deposits know about it, 53% of Russian citizens, among depositors – 2/3. With 43% of respondents are not aware about the system, say the results of the survey.
