The company introduced the Renault Grand Scenic MPV new generation. The car has received five – and seven-seat version, and will go on sale at the end of this year. Prices for the model will be announced later. The production model will establish the plant “Jordan Bess in Tricastin (France).
The car is built on the platform CMF. Machine was noticeably larger than its predecessor. The novelty has received a panoramic roof, large 20-inch wheels, new bumper, led optics, short overhangs and a two-tone painting of the body. After these changes, the Grand Scenic has become more like a crossover than a minivan.
The Luggage compartment of the new model is 718 litres, which is 40 litres more than its predshestvenika. The car’s interior received new seats, different dashboard, two digital display and infotainment system R-Link 2. Compactin was equipped with a warning system driver fatigue, detection of pedestrians, emergency braking system and adaptive cruise control.
The engine in the Grand Scenic range includes six diesel engines. The capacity of the units ranges from 94 to 158 horsepower. Also available petrol engines with a capacity of 113 and 128 horsepower. Engines work together with a six-speed manual transmission, “automatic” with the same number of stages and seven-step “robot” with double clutch.
