At auction in the city of Conover, North Carolina, was exhibited a rare Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback 1969.
Auction house Mecum Auctions sold this exhibit on the same day.
Just this year, came off the Assembly line 499 cars of this model range. The owner of it purchased back in 1970 for 9 thousand dollars. And the new owner gave for the rarity of 250 thousand dollars. For 47 years the car has driven around 41000 miles. Before selling the car was restored, with some parts borrowed from the company NOS.
The machine itself has been preserved almost in perfect condition, only replaced tires and a few parts. The Ford Mustang is one of the most popular in the United States. At the moment Ford has suspended sales of the sports cars, while those that are in warehouses, not sell.
