Famous Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal due to injury forced to miss the third in-season tournament series Grand slam.
Herbal Nadal will miss the season because of a damaged wrist injury caught up with 30-year-old tennis player during the Open championship of France. Ex-first racket of the world was forced to withdraw from the tournament before the match third round against Marcel Granollers.
“With sadness I regret to inform you that after consulting with doctors, considering the last medical examination, that this year won’t be able to play at Wimbledon. This is a hard decision, but I need time to heal the injury.
Thank you all for your support. Your kind messages mean so much to me,” wrote Nadal on his page in Facebook.
Nadal because of various health problems for the ninth time forced to miss the tournament “Grand slam” series. The fourth time the Spaniard will not play at Wimbledon.
From the point of view of the ATP ranking, the cancellation of the trip to London dramatically on the ground position of king is not affected. Last year Nadal left Wimbledon in the second round, sensationally losing to Dustin brown.
