Putin stressed that he always considered Russians and Ukrainians as one people.
“We have people of extreme views, nationalist, as in Russia and Ukraine, but in General, most of them one people, a people of one history, one culture, are very close ethnically,” said the head of state.
Speaking of the “Normandy format”, the President noted that Russia is not against to attract other countries such as the United States.
