GT R will complement the upgraded 4.0-litre petrol engine Biturbo V8.
Mercedes-Benz has published the first images of the sports car GT R. the Premiere will be held at the festival of speed at Goodwood, which will be held at the end of this month. The car will be released under the brand Mercedes-AMG will take place between the models of the AMG GT S and AMG GT Black Series.
Judging by the images, the design of the machine will remind the racing Mercedes-AMG GT3. Sports car will receive the expanded wheel arches, new bumpers, enlarged air intake, additional vents, side skirts, a large spoiler and rear diffuser. The elements of the kit cars will be made of carbon. Because of this, the vehicle weight will be reduced by about 80 kilograms compared with the standard version of the car.
Technical characteristics of the car are still kept secret. GT R will complement the upgraded 4.0-litre petrol engine Biturbo V8. The same motor is performed by power 503 HP installs on the AMG GT S. But after the upgrade, the plant capacity is expected to grow to 585 horsepower.
