The island has many nicknames: “the gates of hell”, “garbage out of pure fear,” “asylum of lost souls”.
Within the Venetian lagoon, which is located in the middle of Venice and Lido for over hundreds of years, the island is Pavella.
Long-time residents of the place EN masse tried to heal from the plague. In later times there was a psychological hospital, the doctor who carried out the sick cruel experiments. After that, the doctor crashed trying to escape from persecution protection.
Currently, the island is abandoned due to bad reputation and owns 2014 Italian businessman Luigi Brugnaro.
