Hybrid “Panamera” score “hundreds” for 4,6 seconds.
Porsche has introduced a hybrid modification of the hatchback of the Panamera’s second generation — 4 E–Hybrid. Public premiere of new items will be held at the Paris motor show.
The composition of the hybrid powertrain included a new 2.9-litre Biturbo petrol V6 unit developing 330 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a located in front of the transmission by the electric motor, issuing 136 HP and 400 Nm. It is powered by a block of lithium-ion batteries, whose capacity increased from 9.4 to 14.1 per kilowatt-hour. Total return units was 462 horsepower and 700 Nm.
Now, the electric motor is connected for operation immediately after pressing the accelerator pedal, while the predecessor it was to be effective only in the case if the pedal was depressed more than 80 percent of its stroke.
Hybrid “Panamera” is able to dial first “hundred” in 4.6 seconds — 0.9 seconds faster than its predecessor. The maximum speed was 278 kilometers per hour (the first generation hybrid of 270 kilometres per hour).
When driving in electric mode, maximum speed is 140 kilometers per hour, and the range was 50 kilometers (the predecessor to 30 kilometers). Claimed fuel consumption when driving in combined mode is equal to 2.5-liters per hundred kilometers in combined cycle.
12.3-inch touchscreen display will be shown data on the work of hybrid installation, including information about the reserve, the specific expenditure of electricity and the degree of filling of the recovery system.
European sales of hybrid “Panamera” the new generation will start in mid-April 2017. In Germany, prices for the novelty will start from 107,5 thousand euros.
