I hope that You, dear friends, have not had time to forget that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called an editorial in the influential American publication the New York Times, in which the President was accused of indulging in corruption in Ukraine, “element of the HYBRID WAR AGAINST UKRAINE”?
This, in my opinion, a shocking statement was announced with fanfare in many media, primarily Ukrainian, saying, know ours! (you can personally be convinced, after reading the article “Poroshenko’s Reaction to an article The New York Times about corruption in Ukraine”).
Personally, I was blown away by his words: HOW COULD HE dare to SAY SUCH a thing? Does Poroshenko have confused Russia with Ukraine? To request the assistance of the United States of America and accused her of “hybrid warfare” is not the same as “fight” with Russia and to demand from the aggressor the lower gas prices!
But, thank God, the Agency “UNIAN” your message put everything in its place: Peter A. backpedaled, citing the misinterpretation of his words: “I’m sorry that my words about publishing in a RESPECTABLE New York Times have been misinterpreted. Myself reading this edition AND RESPECT the POSITION of ITS EDITORIAL BOARD. I AGREE, we in Ukraine have a lot to do, including in matters of fighting corruption. The first steps have already been taken”.
You, like me, also thought that such words can say a person after thorough whipping? Yeah, but I’m ashamed to say thought that Peter thought for a moment but woke up the sense of manhood…
Such statements (in any interpretation) to the Ukrainian President saying only one thing: corruption in Ukraine is thriving and she doesn’t see any end or edge, because the approval of the head of the Ukrainian state, in the fight with her only “first steps”.
I suggest to You, dear friends, to give their INTERPRETATION of the words Poroshenko:
