President Petro Poroshenko has delivered a speech at the celebrations for the Day of baptism of Kyivan Rus, which declared that “Moscow has started a war against Kiev.”
The Ukrainian leader said he would not allow “another state” use of the faithful and said that Ukraine “came the strangers”.

President of Ukraine expects help from Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in the settlement of the canonical status of the Ukrainian Church in the structure of world Orthodoxy.
“The Church of Constantinople for us was, is and will be the mother Church to which we, her children, approached, and will turn for help, including to overcome the separation, which hurts the Orthodox Ukrainians”, — said Poroshenko, UNIAN reports.
He said that opinion polls show that Ukrainians want to have a single local Orthodox Church.
