For the last time on the screens out a large number of sequels: it is not uncommon when a franchise is stretched not three, but five or even more films (for example, AutoSave “fast and furious” will soon join the eighth picture). For example, over the past three months appeared on the screens more than a decade of sequels. We decided to ask our readers whether they consider a large number of sequels a crisis of ideas.

Only in the traditional survey “Movie”, this time dedicated to numerous kinoprodyuser, was attended by about eight people. As it turned out, most readers – 43.4 per cent – are sequels neutral: 346 subscribers of our group in social network “Vkontakte” I think that if the story turned out to be successful, its sequel would be quite logical.
30.2% of respondents (241 people), however, found the abundance of sequels indicator of the crisis of ideas and relate to this state of Affairs negatively. While 26.4% of respondents (211 people) still determine their attitude to the sequels as positive: in their view, the appearance of continuations due solely to the audience.
