Poland loses out on Ukraine, but may save Donbass

If Kiev did not stop the war in the Donbass and will not take socio-economic transformations, the discontent of the poles with the policy of the authorities threatens to go into a new form. Solace Square for Warsaw – this is not a question of image.
Warsaw through its Ambassador in Ukraine Jan Inferno confirmed their willingness to participate in the Minsk process: “the Place of Poland – at the negotiating table. The Minsk format does not solve the issue of the Crimea and gradually exhausts its possibilities. It is necessary to reckon with the fact that there will be the concept of creating a new format, and this format can be Poland”.
For format extension (previously called the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, a year ago, proposed to convene an international conference to resolve the situation in the Donbass, and certainly with the participation of his country.
The argument is always the same: Poland is a neighbor and partner of Ukraine, and the outcome of the conflict will affect both countries. The idea seems to be good, but it’s made by Warsaw over the years in Ukraine suggests otherwise.
Poland, no doubt, had a hand in the Ukrainian Maidan. In April 2015 the Polish politician Janusz Korwin-Mikke said that the words of the former head of the Estonian foreign Minister Urmas Paet, it is exactly known that the snipers firing on the Maidan was prepared in Poland Polish instructors in American money. I remembered old grudges, and quite unexpectedly, for Ukrainians, the Polish Parliament adopted a resolution on the recognition of 11 July as the National day of remembrance of the victims of the genocide committed by Ukrainian nationalists against the Polish population of Volhynia (Volyn massacre) in the years 1943-1945. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has condemned the decision of the Polish Sejm.
Relations between the two countries cooled. The Polish Ambassador, Jan Thick, has promised Ukrainians that the poles would react to a historical event objectively and reconsider their position, but it’s more like a consolation.

The harmfulness of the last of the Maidan, which was understood by many politicians in Western Europe, will gradually be realized and poles. Ukrainian instability has the authority of the politicians, had a hand in the revolution and support the new government.

Poland must learn to realize their interests, given the presence in the Eastern European region and other players, even very distant from it. A simple scheme of confrontation of Poland – Russia has changed.
Now there is Ukraine, USA, the Baltic countries, Romania, Hungary, Turkey. And in Ukraine itself, for which there is a fierce struggle, has its pitfalls – and the nationalists, and the new centrists, and Savchenko: in short, all enough.
The normalization of relations between Poland and Russia and contribution to the pacification of Ukraine will be possible only in case of refusal of the Jagiellonian model.
A couple of months ago Brussels threatened to impose sanctions against Poland for the adopted amendments to the law on the Supreme court. The country is neither sovereign nor independent.
So why play the saboteur in the Ukraine, when it is clear that a country bullied as they want those in pestovskiy models of Polish policy was an opponent of always – European Alliance led by Germany. The current EU, who so boast of the poles, only the light-version of the Reich, which for them there.
Understand it is in Warsaw or not – is very important, as this determines the fate of Donbass doomed to eternal war with those who put a lot of effort to draw Ukraine into the European project.
