Poland will spend 83 billion zlotys ($21 billion) on new weapons. This was stated by Deputy defense Minister of the country Bartosz Kownacki, speaking in the Sejm (the lower chamber of Parliament) of the country, writes Defense News.

The bulk of procurement should be included in the program of technical re-equipment of the Armed forces of Poland for the period 2017-2022 years. A final plan will be submitted to Parliament in September.
