At the moment, the draft of the new supercar that should debut in March 2017 at the Geneva motor show, known under the internal designation P14. Judging by the pictures, the coupe will get other bumpers, modified front and new led headlights.
It is expected that the successor will complement forced 650S 3.8-liter twin-turbo “eight”. Earlier it was reported that the upgraded engine will be part of the hybrid powertrain, the total output of units which will exceed 700 horsepower.
The current McLaren 650S is equipped with a 3.8-liter V8 engine issuing 650 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-step “robot” with two clutches. Supercar able to gain first “hundred” for three seconds, and its maximum speed is 333 kilometers per hour.
In the spring the company McLaren has adopted a plan for its development up to 2022, according to which the creation of new models to be invested one billion pounds. The British argue that by that time at least half of the model is happy the brand will be represented by hybrids.
