Tonight during the Teen Choice Awards Jessica Alba said a touching speech regarding America swept the wave of violence. Together with the actress on stage were members of the families of the victims of violent shootings that have occurred in the U.S. in recent months.
The actress called on the society to pay attention to those who become victims of violence with weapons: most of them teenagers:with me Today on this stage were brave teenagers who suffered incredible grief. It’s the brothers, sisters, daughters, and members of the families of the victims of the shootings: I’m talking about the Aurora, Baton Rouge, Dallas, Minneapolis, Orlando, San Bernardino, Newton. Violence continues, but it needs to stop. Many of the victims of these accidents are teenagers. Today we stand with these people, United by a common appeal: stop the violence. Now, more than ever, we need to stop, feel it all and ask ourselves a simple question: “What’s happening?””.
