The insurers propose to increase the penalty for the lack of policy OSAGO in 10 times. This was stated by the President of RSA Igor Yurgens.
“If a person knowingly buys a fake insurance policy, he’ll offer it for 500-2000 rubles. And if the owner buys a fake without knowing this, fraudsters can take with him the same amount he would have paid, having signed the present agreement. However, we always advocate tougher sanctions for lack of insurance policy. In our opinion, the current penalty for driving without insurance policy need to increase ten times”, – said Igor Yurgens.
If the initiative of insurers will put into practice, the fine for driving without insurance will be 8 thousand rubles, reports IA “SeverInform” citing TASS. In the RSA believe that to deprive a driver’s license for such a violation is wrong.
