Patriarch Kirill has called human rights a “global heresy”

Патриарх Кирилл назвал права человека "глобальной ересью"

Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill called upon to defend Orthodoxy against the “heresy of global chelovekovedenija”, informs on Sunday, March 20, “Interfax”.

According to the Patriarch, the universal criterion of truth in our time has become of man and his rights. Because of this, according to Cyril, “began the revolutionary expulsion of God from human life, from the life of society.”

“Today we are talking about global heresy of chelovechestva, the new idolatry, rend God from human life. Anything like this on a global scale has never been. It is the overcoming of the heresy of modernity, the consequences of which can have an apocalyptic event, the Church must direct the force of his defence, his words, his thoughts,” said the Patriarch.

He added that in many countries efforts are being made by law “the right to approve of any choice, including the most sinful, going against the word of God.”
